Designed by Ben Petersen (Knafs, WIUG, Ben Banters, et al.) extensive research and experience with knife trends over the last decade, the WE Knives Banter has become a popular choice for daily carry and use. The CIVIVI Baby Banter takes his popular drop point liner lock folder and delivers it in a sub-2.5 inch blade platform for more discreet carry. This version comes with a coated red Nitro-V blade and ivory white G10 handle scales.
Brand new, direct from CIVIVI.
Blade: The Nitro-V drop point blade rides smooth on a caged ceramic ball bearing pivot just like the original. Dual black thumb studs offer ambidextrous deployment, while the high flat grind provides solid slicing performance and durability. Spine jimping pairs with the full index finger choil for exceptional control and safety in use. The red blade coating enhances corrosion resistance and delivers a wicked eye-catching look.
Handle: With a 3 1/8” handle this Baby is compact to carry while offering a full four finger grip thanks to the generous choil. An open construction with nested stainless steel liner lock keeps the knife lightweight and delivers secure lockup for safe use. Textured G10 handle scales have enough traction for a secure grip while being easy on the pocket. A generous hole allows for lanyard attachment at the pommel. Screws and barrel spacers are red to match the blade.
Carries via a reversible stainless steel deep carry clip.
Nitro-V Stainless Steel: Nitro-V is a modified AEB-L with Nitrogen and Vanadium added for enhanced performance. You get is a very fine-grained steel with excellent edge stability, allowing for a very fine, high performance slicing edge. It is easy to sharpen, has better edge retention than AEB-L and is one of the toughest stainless steels.
