Brand new, direct from CIVIVI.
Blade: The simple drop point blade is practical and rugged with a slicing full flat grind and fine tip piercing and detail work. Discreet black stonewashed 14C28N hides wear and delivers solid performance while riding smooth on the ceramic bearing pivot for fast deployment via the flipper or blade fullers.
Handle: The chamfered stainless-steel frame is joined in an open back construction and inlaid with handsome Cuibourtia wood for a warm feel and plenty of style. The neutral design is optimized for versatility with a subtle choil pairing with the flipper tab guard for safety. An inline pin allows for lanyard attachment while the nested frame lock offers reliably smooth operation and solid lockup for safe use.
Carries via a reversible stainless-steel deep carry clip.
Sandvik 14C28N: 13C26 modified with more chromium and nitrogen added for higher hardness and improved corrosion resistance. Like 13C26, 14C28N is well-balanced with good toughness, corrosion resistance and stability for a fine, razor edge. Edge retention is higher than carbon steel with similar toughness and the benefit of being stainless.
