Brand new directly from Boker Knives.
Blade: Composed of 12C27 Sandvik stainless steel, the single drop point blade has been mirror polished and features a nail nick for opening. Operating on a traditional slip joint, the knife has a non-aggressive opening function allowing it to fit right into an office or urban setting. Additional tools include: corkscrew, folding lanyard hole, small serrated blade/flat-head screwdriver, bottle opener/large flat-head/wire stripper/wire bender.
Handle: Vibrant, striped Zebra Wood scales form the handle with skeletonized, polished stainless steel liners for additional strength. Zebra Wood is an exotic hard wood used in fine wood working such as musical instruments and furniture. It makes a great knife handle due to the stability and weather resistance of this prized hard wood. The simple pinned pivot and handle construction with full length tumbled stainless back spring is rounded out with a hardened steel glass breaker end for added utility.
Does not have a clip for pocket carry.
Sandvik 12c27: 12c27 is a high purity Swedish stainless steel with excellent edge performance allowing for razor sharpness, high hardness, exceptional toughness and good corrosion resistance. In addition to knives 12c27 is used in high-end ice skate blades and ice drills. Working hardness range is 54-61 HRC depending on the end use.
